Who doesn’t like Mash Potato, I know I do?.
So if you are tired of the same old-same old kind of mash potato, then you are going to enjoy this one I came up with, on one such evening, when I too felt “there must be something more I could do with Mash Potato ???
So here is my recipe, which I hope You make as part of your meal time, as There is definitely more to enjoy, with this Spruced Up version of the Good Old Mash Potato ?
Tangy Mashed Potato (Marsay Style)
~Peel, Cube and Boil potatoes, in cold water, with added 1tsp salt.
~when Potatoes are soft, strain off the excess water.
Now Add the rest of the ingredients below
~roughly mash the potatoes (leave some chunky bits), while still hot, with 1 Tblsp Butter and 1/4 cup milk
~saute half onion, thinly sliced, with 1/4 tsp Garlic(optional) in little butter with 1 Tblsp Finely chopped fresh Coriander(optional), until lightly browned
~2-3 Tblsp Sour Cream
~season with salt and Black Pepper
~mix all the above ingredients together well, and check seasoning again.
