Crispylicious Lamb Chops

I personally don’t really like lamb, except for a really good lamb roast or these really Crispy and Delicious (Crispylicious) lamb chops, that makes for an awesome fry up breakfast or if you looking for a light lunch/dinner.

With a hectic life that most of us lead these days, this recipe is definitely an easy, hassle-free one to quickly whip up, that the family would most definitely love crunching into?

You Will Need:
500g Lamb Chops
1 teaspoon Ginger and Garlic Paste (I usually use the Ginger/Garlic that has Red Chillies ground in)
1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
1-2 teaspoon Chillie Powder (less or more chillie may be added as per preferrence)
1/2 teaspoon Cumin Powder
1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon dried mixed herbs

Instructions:

~ marinate the Lamb Chops in these ingredients for an hour or until needed.

Crispylicious “Crumbing”
1 cup All – Purpose Flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground Black Pepper OR Lemon Pepper spice
1/2 teaspoon dried Origanum

~lightly toss all the above ingredients to mix spices well.

Now all that is left to do is :

~heat some oil, shallow to medium amounts, in a pan
~coat lamb chops, one at a time, into the “crumbing” flour. Making sure both sides are well coated.
~carefully place into oil, frying up as many that your pan can take.
~turn a few times until lovely and golden brown, do not over fry as it will toughen and dry out the lamb.
~Remove from oil and place onto absorbent kitchen paper towels to remove excess oil and Serve immediately with a green salad and Potato Chips or any other starch your family may prefer.
~ENJOY!!!
