Silent Prayers in the African Bush

I have just been sorting through some Photographs of my visit to Kruger National Park in December 2013/ Januray 2014 ,when I had come across these pics, which Had completely slipped my mind to blog about.

Aaahhh…my most fav animal in the African Bush, The Leopard ?

These photos were taken on one such late afternoon, drive into the Kruger National Park, and we were about to leave via the Phabeni Gate. Hoping to see some late afternoon activity of predators before we left. So we decided to quickly do a short slow drive onto the S3, once again “hoping” to see the leopard we had seen on previous game drives, in that area. We Drove for just a couple kilometers in and turned around to leave.
All the way out I continuously kept saying a Silent Prayer“Please let me see a leopard…”

Well guess what, silent prayers DO WORK!!! More to my delight, and being the only vehicle there, we sighted,on the S1 (Tar Road) not far off from the S3 (Dirt Road), THE LEOPARD, who had probably just awoken from its day slumber and ambled onto the roadside.

With my excitement at it’s peak, I did manage to click a few pics ???, with shaky hands, as the Leopard walked right pass our vehicle, so very close, I could almost touch it. It all happened so quick, literally 30 secs to 1 minute. Giving us a curious stare as it passed, and before I knew it, the Elusive Leopard, had disappeared once again into the dense bushes.

No matter how quick it all happened, I was just so grateful and remembered to thank my Creator for once again answering my Silent Prayers ?
