Ohhh where does time go to! Been a while since since I managed to drop a blog post on here. Although there has been a slight bit of a hiatus on the Foodeva Marsay Website, I have been doing some ‘mini-blogging’ via my other social media platforms.

Spicy Chicken Fillets

You Will Need:
4-5 Chicken Fillets, Butterflied/OR cut into strips
1 teaspoon Ginger Garlic paste (with added green chillies or the red Garlic Masala)
1 teaspoon Chilli Powder
1/2 teaspoon Chilli Flakes (crushed chillies)
1/2 teaspoon Tumeric Powder
1 teaspoon Coriander and Cumin Powder (Dhana Jeera)
3 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
3 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
3-4 Tablespoon Tomato Sauce
1 or More Tablespoon Peri Peri Sauce (or any chilli sauce)
2 Tablespoon Ghee/Oil/Butter
~ Marinate Chicken Fillets in all ingredients except the ghee or oil or butter.
~ This may be used immediately or kept aside to Marinate for longer.
~ Heat a Flat Pan/Pot, add the ghee/oil/butter.
~ Add the marinated Chicken Fillets, brown on both sides, and add 1/3 cup water, and allow to cook n medium low heat, until water evaporates and ghee surfaces to top.
~ Serve immediately with starch of choice and salad.
* add more sauce if you prefer a saucier end result.
* this makes a perfect sandwich filler too, or chicken option to top onto salad.
* This recipe works just as good with steak or lamb cuts.
