Dubai has fast become a Tourist destination. I remember 1st setting foot on that sandy Part Of The World, some 5-6 years ago and was left awestruck by it’s magnificence. I remember trying to do all we could do in the short while we were there…from taking in the opulence of the malls, to sightseeing around the towns, to doing a desert safari (which is a fantastic experience). Why rush and explore everything at one go…take your time and enjoy every little moment, More reason to come back and visit a country I say;-).
Since then, Dubai has become one of the major cities in the World that serves as a major Connecting Flight destination to the World over. I was on one such travel recently, we had the pleasure to take a few days doing more sightseeing around Dubai…and came across these 2 GEMS amidst the Desert. In this Photo-Blog you will find a few pics I have put together of these gardens. It is One sight NOT TO BE MISSED when NEXT YOU in DUBAI. It does yet again, fall under the ‘World’s Largest’ categories Attractions. Come Now You have got to love the way ‘some’ Arabs can so un-abashedly flaunt their wealth:-p, This time I have No Qualms with it?? #justsaying .
NOTE: These gardens are operational from October to April and remains closed from June to September. Entrance fee costs 30Aed. Taxis are ready available in Dubai, and most importantly, Taxis are available back from the gardens as well. If you are doing a self-drive, this is the location of the gardens, Al Barsha South 3, Barsha, Dubailand Area – Dubai – United Arab Emirates.
BE prepared to let your senses go on a roller-coaster ride, not forgetting wearing your most comfy ‘Go-Walkers’, as you stroll between the “World’s largest natural flower garden featuring over 45 million flowers planted”.
ENJOY and #TravelThroughLenses
Below is a snippet of the ‘Call To Prayer’ (Azaan) for the Asr Salaah (the 3rd prayer for the day during late afternoon), At The Dubai Miracle Garden.
Just a walk around the other end of the Miracle Garden, you will find the Butterfly Garden. Contained within an enclosure with regulated temperatures, this unforgiving desert climate becomes a Haven for these Beautiful Fluttering insects. You can even get them to come sit on your hands if you patient enough, Imran was like a Butterfly magnet
while my ‘rainbow’ coloured hijab attracted a few butterflies thinking It was another nectar bearing flower
Here are a few Photographs from the Butterfly Garden…ENJOY?
