Croutons are crunchy little baked bread bites, that adds an overall pleasing finish to your soups and salads 👍.
Yeah I know, I know…but these are sooooo easy to make, don’t “bite me” now, this is just MY way of making it, and if you haven’t attempted making croutons at home before, this will definitely have your family and friends looking for more.
Never again will you opt for store bought croutons, and this recipe can be made ahead of time, and even be frozen.
Ever had those last few slices of bread from a loaf that would usually go to waste? Well not anymore, now you can make these croutons. This recipe can be made with White or Brown Bread, or even give the chuncky French Loaf a try;).
So here is the recipe for you to try out, looking forward to all your feedbacks.

Easy Homemade Croutons
(A Foodeva Marsay Recipe)
6-8 Slices of Bread(I used Brown Bread)
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon Lemon Pepper seasoning
3 teaspoon Olive Oil
~ Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
~ Cut the Bread slices into small, Bite Size, chunks.
~ Layer onto a baking sheet, and add all the above ingredients.
~ Toss all this well together.
~ Bake in oven for 5 mintues, then remove tray and toss Croutons to ensure even browning.
~switch the oven to Grill Setting and return tray and grill for another few minutes, until lighlty gloden in colour.
~remove from oven and cool well, before storing in an airtight container in pantry for 1-2 weeks, or in Freezer for indefinetly.
That’s it!!! Ready to use scattered over your favourite Soup or Salad.
Now you can proudly let your Family and Guests know…”Yes I have even made the croutons” ;).
1● 1/4 teaspoon of fresh chopped garlic or Garlic powder.
2● 1/4 teaspoon of Mixed Dried Herbs
3● Sprinkle of Parmesan Cheese.
