Now this is the Video that sparked this blog post. A Huge Thank You to Narriman Shaik 💕 for sharing this video with me and the rest of the lovelies on Watalotwegot
I do like trying quick and easy recipes, and this one almost kept tempting me to “TRY ME” , aaaand the temptation got the better of me😜.
This recipe gets a 👍Double Thumbs Up 👍 rating from Foodeva Marsay 💕.
It is so quick and simple to whip up and with feather light end results, this is one recipe to memorise for those unexpected visitors, No more excuses for not having enough time to whip something for teatime (I would from now on ensure I have these 3 ingredients always at hand). Thankfully Imran had opened up a bottle of Fizzy Lemonade the night before, and with limited pantry supplies (we are just back in South Africa for a short while), and having had Self – Rising flour and recently bought Fresh Cream, This recipe made my Sweet Friday bake up list👌.
So making up just (almost) Half the batch, I got 6 small sized and 6 medium sized scones from this batch, I am pretty impressed with the outcome, a super soft and light scone to enjoy at the snap of the fingers;).
Here is my adapted version to the recipe in the video, I do Hope you give it a try (either the original or my adapted version), and looking forward to your feedback.

They are just amazing…??? They remind me of the way Enid Blyton describes her scones.
