Who doesn’t like Mash Potato, I know I do?.
So if you are tired of the same old-same old kind of mash potato, then you are going to enjoy this one I came up with, on one such evening, when I too felt “there must be something more I could do with Mash Potato ???
So here is my recipe, which I hope You make as part of your meal time, as There is definitely more to enjoy, with this Spruced Up version of the Good Old Mash Potato

Tangy Mashed Potato (Marsay Style)

HOW TO MAKE :
3-4 potatoes
~Peel, Cube and Boil potatoes, in cold water, with added 1 teaspoon salt.
~when Potatoes are soft, strain off the excess water.
Now Add the rest of the ingredients below
~roughly mash the potatoes (leave some chunky bits), while still hot, with 1 Tablespoon Butter and 1/4 cup milk
~saute half onion, thinly sliced, with 1/4 teaspoon Garlic(optional) in little butter with 1 Tablespoon Finely chopped fresh Coriander(optional), until lightly browned
~2-3 Tablespoon Sour Cream
~season with salt and Black Pepper
~mix all the above ingredients together well, and check seasoning again.
Serve with your protein dish and a salad, may be topped with a grated pickled gherkin.
- You could also add the gherkins and shredded carrots into the mash.
