I am so proud of myself today… with absolutely NO ART experience nor any kind of artsy Tools, except for the odd paintbrush back home in SA (for baking purposes😁), I had a wild idea, on waking this morning, to give Mandala drawing a go. (like the ones I’ve been Colouring In recently – have a look at my favourite ones below ).
Like I said, I had zilch in the form of tools, I did have Paper (printing A4), Colour Pens/Pencils I did have (my collection is growing slowly;)) …now I know I needed a pencil to at least start something on paper, my luck I had “discovered” a long forgotten pencil I had probably slipped into my handbag eons ago, it is a clutch pencil which is now “ERASER-LESS “
So some quick thinking, and with NO PLAN as to what or how I want my finished Mandala to look like, I began this journey of Drawing. Remember I have no Compass/Protractor/Ruler even😣… so out came what I had at home here in Bahrain….. Pot Lids, Tea Canister Lids, Baking Cutters and Moulds (those that did find it’s way to Bahrain with me).
I started off with a basic central Circle (Pot Lid), estimated the central point and just kept adding circles/patterns as I went.
After a good few hours of drawing, and Erasing…the End Result was truly Unbeliveable…at least in my case 😂. All that was left to do was draw over the pencil lines with a Black Fine Tip Pen and Erase all pencil lines. And born out of this “Mandala Drawing Experiment”, I present to You my very 1st “Under The Sea” Mandala 🎉🎉🎉

Moral of this Blog today….
Never Say Never… If you don’t try something, you will never know if you are capable of doing it. Even with obstacles along the way, if you remain positive, you sync the rest of your being (Mind, Body and Soul) to follow this positive outlook. Rest if you May…BUT NEVER GIVE UP.
